Aquí estoy! | three-day flamenco dance workshop

Eduardo Guerrero

Flamenco Biënnale 2019

Eduardo Guerrero (Cádiz, 1983) started dancing when he was six years old, after which artists such as Antonio Canales, Manolo Marín and Mario Maya adopted him into their dance companies. These days he is particularly praised for his solo performances. Guerrero’s modern, characteristic and compelling flamenco energy triggers the senses and brings his audience to a magical world where the ancient flamenco art leads a new life.

Like no other, this charismatic dancer and inspirational teacher can bring out the personality of every dancer in his classes. The focus will be on the arms, because a dialogue between music and movement can exist even without footwork. For this workshop Eduardo selected a bulería by Javier Ibañez. The result will be a short dance presentation in front of an audience (of course participation in the presentation is not obligatory).
