The flamenco world top is getting together for the fourth time in the Netherlands next January 2013. For almost two weeks the Netherlands present a sizzling flamenco feast with big stars and up-and-coming talent who dispel the winter chills early with their dazzling rhythms!The acclaimed Dutch Flamenco Biënnale, is one of Europe’s leading Flamenco Festivals and devotes itself to high class, adventurous and contemporary Flamenco. It presents a colourful palette of all flamenco forms - dance, guitar, singing- in an exciting dialogue with other cultures and is complemented by conferences, master classes and workshops, photo expositions and afterparties.
The Biennial provides a spectacular and intimate stage to the ancient flamenco song, the cante jondo. The Flamenco Biennial shows the rich, multifaceted flamenco tradition in all its movements with modern dance performances, intimate song recitals and exciting musical alliances that explore the borders of the genre.

Good Singing Hurts: screenings around Europe
After screening at Womex 2011 in Copenhagen, the Béziers and Nîmes Festival and the Flamenco Festival Tanzhaus Düsseldorf, ‘Good Singing Hurts', the documentary on guitarist Moraíto Chico will travel to the 7th Flamenco Festival Esch and Festival Arte Flamenco 2012 Mont de Marsan.
